New updates to Revise a Review - Expanded
A Better Way to Request Review Revisions
Hey everyone — we’re excited to share an update to our Revise a Review feature!
Previously, when you opened a review case, the option to request a revision (“Ask to Revise”) appeared below the review in the same view as your public reply. It worked, but it wasn’t always intuitive — especially if you wanted to personalize your message to the shopper before sending.
That’s changing.
What’s New
We’ve given “Ask to Revise” its own dedicated tab inside the review case.
Now, when you click into a review, you’ll see a clear, separate Revise Review tab — this is where you can:
Write a personalized note to the shopper explaining your request.
Add context about the conversation you’ve had or details of how the issue was resolved.
Send the message directly to the shopper, along with the standard revision request link.
Instead of sending a generic message, your words now go straight to the shopper, giving your brand a more human, personal touch.
Smarter Communication with AI
We’ve also added AI assistance to help you write your revision request.
If you need a hand crafting a thoughtful or professional message, just use the AI generator — it’ll create a polished draft you can edit and personalize before sending.
Why This Matters
This small update makes a big difference.
It helps your team:
Communicate more naturally with shoppers.
Reaffirm details of the interaction or resolution.
Save time while maintaining your brand’s voice.
The Revise a Review flow still works exactly as before — but now it’s cleaner, clearer, and more personal.
Go ahead and give it a try the next time you follow up with a shopper. We think you’ll love the new workflow.
